Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including bending, threading, and installing EMT, Aluminum, and galvanized pipes, as well as pulling wire and installing electrical devices. You will work with fire alarm schematics, data terminations, and will be expected to read and interpret electrical drawings. Your role will also involve installing and troubleshooting dimming systems, handling condensing units and air handlers, and managing electrical panels and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Bend, thread, and install EMT, Aluminum, and galvanized pipes ranging from ½” to 4”.
Operate pulling machines, threading tools, and hydraulic benders.
Work with fire alarm schematics and install devices in compliance with NYC FA Code.
Perform data terminations including Cat6 and RJ45.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, RCPs, elevations, and dimensions.
Wire and install receptacles, lighting, switches, and understand dimming systems.
Install and troubleshoot dimming systems.
Manage condensing units, air handlers, and condensate pumps.
Install and troubleshoot disconnect switches, end of line boxes, and electrical cabinets.
Work with trough and wiremold installations.
Perform 3-way and 4-way switching, troubleshoot electrical faults, shorts, and poor connections.
Maintain full knowledge of electrical panels, live parts, and electrical safety procedures.
Apply NFPA 70E training in daily tasks.
Possess good knowledge of NYC and National electrical codes.
Perform load calculations and be familiar with AWG to MCM.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical wiring and blueprint reading.
Experience in pulling wire and conduit bending.
Operational knowledge of pulling machines, threading tools, and hydraulic benders.
Ability to install receptacles, troubleshoot electrical faults, and perform 3-way and 4-way switching.
Basic knowledge of condensing units, air handlers, and condensate pumps.
Familiarity with conduit bending formulas and hydraulic benders.
Understanding of electrical panels, live parts, and electrical safety.
Knowledge of NYC and National electrical codes.
Familiarity with AWG to at least #6.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification
SST certification
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yonkers, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
