Job Description
Pay Range: $198,345 -$247,517. This role is eligible for an annual bonus.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•Lead the integration of customer strategies with channel strategies to develop aligned business plans that achieve profitable sales objectives.
•Develop winning ways of working and customer engagement strategies to win with a Key Customer/Channel
•Develop and execute customize solutions that are aligned with BTB and Customer business objectives and strategies
•Strong Account Management skills which combine category, customer and consumer insights, leveraging our playbook tools and using effective selling / negotiation skills that deliver the expected business results
•Lead development of the customer relationship. Facilitate Joint Business Planning and multiple level customer engagement.
•Develop and deliver effective selling presentations that implement channel/customer strategies
•Leverage total portfolio mix to drive NNS growth through ‘Premiumization.’
•Improve customer performance and R.O.I. through frequent and effective Gap Closing
•Profitability: Own responsibility for the customer Marginal Contribution and effectively manage to accomplish assigned financial objectives
•Customer/Channel Expert: Learn all facets of customer and channel dynamics and use understanding to align on customer priorities
•Teamwork: Leverage the channel/company strategies and working closely with cross-functional colleagues including DSD, customer service, finance, supply chain, customer development and marketing
•Performance Tracking: Utilize management tools (TPM, Trade Architecture, Channel reporting) to analyze data on a variety of critical business drivers to improve results
•Customer Planning: Develop Customer Business Plans for assigned customers through application of the channel strategies, ICP Strategies and spending guardrails.
•Volume and Trade Spend Forecasting: Develop timely and accurate volume and financial forecasts
•Budgets: Manage budgets (T&E, TTS, NPTE)
Qualifications
Key qualifications include:
•10+ years in Business Development
•Sales experience preferred
•Consistently delivers on KPIs, especially top and bottom-line business results
•Ability to manage all aspects of a large Channel
•Project Management, analysis and decision making skills
•Successful P&L Management (understands levers and ability to influence)
•Strong history of delivering sustainable growth and exceeding channel/customer plans with a very strong category management skill set.
•Proven track record in sales planning and customer P&L management
•Solid analytical and technical skills in MS Office and internal sales tools
•Product Portfolio Channel Experience: Experience selling within a specific channel with knowledge of channel dynamics.
•Relationship Building: Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships internally and at customer level.
•Presentation Building Skills: Development of presentation documents drawing from all available sources
•Presenting Skills: Delivery of presentations in one-on-one or group situations to deliver a specific message and obtain a pre-planned results.
•Negotiating Skills: The ability to achieve pre-planned results in a meeting or discussion by negotiating for those results with an individual or group
