OEC Logistics, Inc. Logistics Management Analyst in Rosedale, New York
Collect and analyze operations data relating to logistics control, communication methods, cost analysis, customs coordination effectiveness, order routing procedure and identify problems and improvements; Provide analyses on transportation costs and delivery processes and streamline flow of goods, services, and relevant information between the point of origin and the point of consumption; Evaluate and estimate the cost and scope involved with company's operations expansion and recommend enhanced logistics systems and procedures, or organizational structure changes; Interface with customers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, insurers, port facilities, and customs officials and services as necessary for the efficient preparation of customs and shipping documentation; Monitor operations systems to ensure the systems run according to planned. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related; Two (2) year experience in position related to operations management and analysis to improve efficiency in global logistics industry; Two (2) year experience utilizing data analysis software & reporting programs including Excel VBA, Excel Pivot Table/VLookup/Index Match, Crystal Reports, and CargoWise or similar Transportation Management System (TMS) software.
