We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Partnerto join our team!!
The position is responsible for developing and implementing effective staffing strategies to attract a
diverse pool of qualified talent to meet hiring goals while providing quality customer service to candidates
and hiring managers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Carries out recruiting plan for agreement and non-agreement positions at all levels; identifies recruiting sources to maintain a pipeline of applicants.
Responsible for recruiting and staffing initiatives (i.e., college/military recruiting) from inception to completion.
Screens and interviews prospective candidates on the phone or in person.
Participates in panel interviews with hiring managers as appropriate.
Counsels management in structuring external offers; extends internal/external offers.
Prepares behavioral interview questions; facilitates the candidate selection discussion and hiring decision.
Utilizes social media and other vehicles to recruit talent.
Interprets policies and procedures for client base. Develops outreach recruiting plans to meet EO/AA hiring needs.
Tracks and collects applicant tracking data; generate recruiting reports, as needed.
Able to proactively network and establish effective working relationships.
Responsiveness to urgent business needs and requests.
Must be comfortable working in a high-volume recruitment capacity, managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration or related area required.
Minimum of three (3) years of recruiting experience in transportation, utility, non-profit, or service industry required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience working with applicant tracking systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with social network and Internet recruiting tactics.
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations pertaining to employment and hiring practices.
Strong communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated customer interfacing skills.
Proven track record of client satisfaction.
Experience working with contingency and retained search firms desired.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- SHRM-CP Preferred
Working Environment:
- General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel and applicants
