Broadridge is hiring! Were seeking a Senior Mainframe Software Engineer to enhance our product development team. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, configuration, customization, unit testing, and maintenance of our software. You'll also collaborate with IT, Data, and Product Management teams, as well as external experts in areas like data science and deep learning. We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• In this role you will, investigate system and programming problems, propose solutions and recommend design improvements for increased efficiency. You'll develop mainframe applications using COBOL / CICS /VSAM and DB2.

• You'll analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed system functionality by working with internal organizations and/or clients.

• Handling workload to completion in timeframes provided to meet client timelines.

• You'll develop architectural components in support of business requirements and standards for application development.

• You will build system and program test plans and procedures

• You will develop test data and performs the unit testing ensuring that the programs perform according to program specifications.

• You'll lead other team members in the coding, testing and debugging of application programs Special short-term projects may be assigned.

  Qualifications:

• 15+ or more years of experience writing and testing code using Cobol, CICS, VSAM and DB2.

• Full knowledge of SDLC development methodologiesincluding SCRUM/Agile

• You should have some experience developing with one more of modern technologies: Java, Perl, Python, etc.

• Experience in AWS services

• Technical abilities to include, but not limited to the following: Elixir, StreamWeaver, In Design, PDF and ACIF experience. Exstream Dialog, Cobol and JCL knowledge a plus.

• You should have experience with Confluence and Jira

• Leadership experience is a plus

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent IT experience.

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $175,000 - $195,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
