Job Overview:
In close collaboration with the Decision Support and Service leaders, assist in developing and reporting of key project management measures (e.g. volume, profitability, efficiency, quality, utilization) in addition effective communication of project statuses and goals.
Assist in the analysis, business planning and ROI valuations across the Advanced Heart Failure, Transplant, and Mechanical Circulatory Support Services areas, and develop rigorous processes for testing assumptions, estimates of financial and clinical impact, and investment requirements. Keep current regarding trends and developments in the health care field, particularly when they pertain to project management, strategic planning, analytic and decision support tools, financial trends, evolving technologies and programs
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree minimum
Progressive experience health care transplant management
Working experience in healthcare and/or similar environment strongly preferred

Essential Functions:
Develops and implements a comprehensive strategic plan to grow heart transplant program outreach. Works collaboratively with leadership across the system to maximize the growth of the program. Develop and implement educational sessions for the community on advanced heart therapies.
Lead efforts to expand outreach locations and increasing RWJBH-NBI presence in the community. Provides project management, planning, analysis, operational support and coordination
Provides meeting and event planning. Assists in the oversight, processing, and management of program related finances from individual expenses to event related invoicing. Designs and implements the strategic goals decided by the NBI Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program. Develops, standardizes and implements policies and protocols. Implements and operationalizes new programs and initiatives, such as DCD program.
Oversees the schedule and staffing of internal meetings such as but not limited to selection committee, QAPI, Adverse events. Prepares agendas, presentations and minutes. Participates in the distribution of hospital, physician or specialty-specific performance metrics.
Oversees the schedule and delivery of internal communications. Manages the transplant and clinicians distribution lists. Oversees the management and follow-up of all incoming web-based patient referrals for the transplant program through effective communication with office staff and referring providers. Develop education program for patient management and training including protocols for in between visit management.
