Vice President, Sales & Trading at TD Securities (USA) LLC, New York, NY (F/T)JOB DUTIES: Serve as a member of the TD Prime Services Strategy & Analytics team within Global Equity to price, risk, and manage the U.S. books. Develop business and client analytics, optimization algo and new products. Involved in the following: trading strategy algorithms and market intelligence algorithms, client analytics, margin calculation and inventory optimization, and Prime Services funding and liquidity management. Remain fully informed on market data, economic information, and key industry developments as well as regulatory standards to assist in maximizing profitability through sound trading decisions. Work with the trading desk's senior trader to risk-manage the trading book by analyzing risk reports, developing optimal hedging techniques, and executing in the market. Develop processes and tools to improve risk reporting and perform profit and loss analyses. Work with the Sales & Trading, Risk Management, Finance and Treasury teams to ensure seamless service and support to clients. Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts to specify and develop new models, parameter management and tools automated quoting capabilities.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Financial Mathematics, Finance, Business, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, as Analyst, or related position involving equity derivatives trading or equities derivatives sales. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Utilizing Python, SQL programming, analytics, and statistics; Working with the capital markets sector across back office, front office, and risk management; Sales or relationship management within financial services, including liaising with front-office staff and client back office and middle office groups; Information gathering, research, and analysis of data to inform trading strategy; Using Bloomberg application to analyze markets and communicate with team members and external clients; Using advanced mathematical models and programming languages to create reports for clients and sales & trading;Prime Brokerage experience, including Funding/Liquidity Risk Management, Repo/Secured Funding, Stock Loan, Delta One or Prime Service client analytics; Asset classes including stocks, corporate bonds, and options; Data science and machine learning techniques for quantitative data analysis, including time-series analysis and forecasting on market data; Analyzing large data sets; Python library including Pandas, Numpy, or scikit-learn; and Version control system, Command Line Programming, Jupyter, and MSQL.Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.SALARY: $200,000 - $225,000 per yearQUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Email resume to TDNYC.TDSUSHRServices@tdsecurities.com.
