Our work environment fosters diversity, engagement, and productivity.Your Impact:The UX Researcher is a 3 year + research professional who leads or supports UX research studies related to FactSet’s stock and portfolio analysis software platforms. You will be part of “The Insighters” UX Research Team and part of the broader UX Design team. Within the UX Research Team, you will collaborate with other members on a variety of research assignments and team projects. Collaboration will sometimes extend to the broader Product team, as well as Sales, Marketing and technical teams. Our role at FactSet is to conduct research that helps identify how to build the right things and how to build them right. We help make the user experience better.The best candidate for this role is a self-confident and self-motivated UX researcher who is curious and passionate about user insights. This candidate believes user empathy leads to improved user-centered design. This candidate has experience working with cross-functional teams, discussing research requests, setting expectations, and outlining suggestions and recommendations on the best way to approach a variety of research needs.What You’ll Do:Plan and conduct medium-sized UX research projects, conduct data analysis, and synthesize higher level insights.Produce comprehensive and accurate UX research deliverables promptly for multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating ability to meet project requirements and an understanding of standards, tools, methodology and procedures.Review written deliverables/reports with manager and other UX Research Team members and incorporate all feedback.Present deliverables verbally in scheduled final report readout calls, describing the goals of the study, important insights, detailed findings, and recommendations.Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to incorporate research findings into the design and development process.Observe the UX research process on assigned projects and contribute informative input while following the appropriate process.Provide transparency to management and project teams on progress and any delays, escalating issues to ensure all projects continue moving forward in a timely manner.Support additional initiatives that affect the broader organization (e.g., education, recruitment ops, helping the UX org to scale and grow).Engage in ongoing education related to UX research, FactSet, and the financial technology space; including all learning curriculums offered by FactSet.
