Full Job DescriptionTEST SMOKE 327Position OverviewThe TEST SMOKE 327 role is designed for a skilled database and software testing professional who will ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, while working closely with the development team to resolve issues and enhance application quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various database systems.Execute automated and manual tests to ensure application functionality and performance.Analyze test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner.Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.Maintain documentation of testing processes and outcomes for compliance and quality assurance.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability of new features.Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in database management and testing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in database testing and software quality assurance.Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, MSSQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with JavaScript and testing frameworks.Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres, and T-SQL is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
