Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks Technical Security Engineer II in New York, NY.Job Duties: Design and build data assets, analytics, visualizations and monitoring for the security team and security programs. Work in close collaboration with client architects, developers and program managers to research, propose, design, implement and manage dashboards and analytics for security programs like vulnerability management, integrity monitoring, infrastructure monitoring. Provide metrics, analytics and visualization subject matter expertise to developers and program managers. Provide all of the above especially for the Splunk ecosystem. Telecommuting permitted. Minimum Requirements: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience in the field of System analyst, Security analyst or related occupationSpecial Skills:1.Python and Ruby2.Datastores including SQL, Redshift, and RDS3.Software systems and applications4.Information security concepts and principles 5.Windows or Linux6.Server hardening process7.Industry standard security frameworks including CIS, NIST, or PCI8.Network layers, protocols, and network security fundamentals Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
