Responsibilities
The Digital Asset Relationship Management roles are responsible for acquiring, orchestrating, and growing entire client and ecosystem relationships; deepening relationships within the C-Suite; consulting on, and cross-selling, the entire SVB platform (i.e. Treasury management to Debt financing to the Private Bank, etc.) to address client business and personal needs; orchestrating cross-functional SVB teams to optimize the client experience; and building real relationships to differentiate SVB with all key influencers in the market. Core responsibilities include new business development and expansion of existing relationships, as well as, originating, advising on, and negotiating financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for relationship management of commercial bank clients in the digital assets sector, and delivery of core commercial banking products (i.e. debt financing, treasury management, FX, investments, etc.) and broader bank financial services (i.e. private bank, wealth advisory, etc.).
- Advising on, originating, and negotiating financing solutions for Commercial Bank clients.
- Provides support to MDs and Directors on strategic relationships, as well as individually develops relationships with executives, and investors in the ecosystems.
- New business development and expansion of existing relationships, as well as originating, advising on, and negotiating financing solutions for early-mid stage digital assets commercial bank clients.
- Developing an understanding of the client's needs and cross selling SVB's suite of products and services at the appropriate points in the lifecycle of the business.
- Represent SVB at events in market.
Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years of related experience in the innovation ecosystem focused on digital assets or High School diploma or GED with a minimum 8 years of related experience in the innovation ecosystem focused on digital assets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in digital assets and blockchain technologies both professionally and individually.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching innovative financial products.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other digital assets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience at a startup accelerator, startup, or large technology company is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance issues surrounding digital assets.
- Deep network within the Web3 ecosystem.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and marketing skills. Good closing skills. Strong focus and ownership on the overall client experience. Excellent communication skills, Ability to manage time and prioritize.
The base pay for this position is generally between $121,000 - $169,300 per year. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
