What You Will Do:
The Sr Manager, AI sourcing role is transversal to the Media and Marketing sourcing team. As the Sr Manager, AI sourcing you will be responsible for developing a road map to harness the full potential of AI within the Media and Marketing landscape (>$2Bn spend). You will build and implement the sourcing strategies leveraging AI tools and opportunities and managing supplier relationships hand in hand with the category managers. You will report directly into the VP , Media & Marketing Sourcing.
In this position you will work in close partnership with the category directors, the Global Sourcing, CDMO Media & Marketing leads , as well as L’Oreal USA brand s and finance teams to support key AI initiatives.
Your responsibilities:
Develop strong relationships with your key stakeholders, be recognized as a valued partner and influence business decisions optimizing the value creation
Define sourcing strategies and ensure consistency between all categories regarding AI activation on the respective scopes
Proactively exchange with global teams regarding US specific AI needs to help influence global priorities and leverage cross fertilization between zones
Lead commercial and business contract negotiations, working closely with L’Oreal’s Legal counsel and Business Stakeholders
Manage/consolidate AI benefits, quantified (time, costs, quality and CO2 emissions) as well as financial reporting
Influence the key l’Oreal USA partners on leveraging AI tools, challenging them on sharing the benefits, in close collaboration with the category partners

Your Experience / Education:
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing/ Media; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
6+ years’ experience at brand owner or marketing/media agency
3+ years’ exposure to automation tools / data science / AI / machine learning
Experience in strategic sourcing and category management is a plus
