Quality Healthcare Staffing Senior Wireless Support Specialist in NEW YORK, New York
Tasks: Provide support on daily ServiceNow incidents/requests and collaborate with carrier account teams and wireless personnel on customer service issues. Ensure urgent incidents are prioritized and addressed promptly. Work closely with OTI's Cost Recovery Group (CRG) for mobile order approvals. Liaise with City agencies to resolve service requests/incidents, advising on carrier selection, service activation, cancellations, number porting, and equipment changes. Provide user-level technical support, troubleshoot communication issues, and coordinate with vendors and carriers for new equipment orders. Collaborate with internal OTI divisions to assess service and equipment costs and determine financial responsibilities. Perform inventory control functions, including managing stock and updating vendor management systems (lifting boxes up to 50 lbs may be required). Assist users with device configurations, activation, and programming for mobile devices such as smartphones (Android/iOS), mobile PC cards, and MiFi devices. Perform Mobile Device Management (MDM) tasks, including device provisioning, base profile deployment, and policy enforcement. Work with agency MDM administrators to ensure successful device enrollments. Execute additional tasks and projects as directed related to request and incident management. (Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered.) Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Senior Level Wireless Support Specialist. Experience with Carrier Portals, Apple ABM, and Android KNOX. Strong background in Enterprise or Solution Architecture. Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships. Experience in project management with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team while handling multiple priorities. Knowledge of technology standards for security, document transmission, and digital signatures. Ensure compliance with NYC Cyber Command Standards. Experience analyzing and interpreting policies and procedures. Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Experience working with cross-functional teams (architects, developers, engineers, domain experts) to document non-functional requirements. Strong attention to detail, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
