MongoDB Senior Program Coordinator, Early Talent (Contract) in New York, New York

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Senior Program Coordinator to help facilitate a seamless and inspiring experience for our candidates and program participants. You will report directly to the Early Talent Lead Program Manager and work collaboratively with our Recruiters and Program Coordinators to guarantee a smooth and captivating candidate journey.

This is a hybrid role (minimum 2 days in-office) based out of NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview Coordination:

  • Partner with Recruiters to organize high-volume phone and video interviews for our Intern, New Grad, and Sales Development candidates

  • Collaborate closely with interviewers to create a positive and welcoming candidate experience during interview sessions

  • Gather and synthesize valuable feedback from interviewers to continually enhance our selection process

  • Swag Management & Logistics

  • Assist in the budgeting, creation, logistics, and shipping of promotional items and MongoDB materials for strategic events, including those across the entire People Team Business Unit

  • Support the planning and scheduling of on-site events during the fall, spring, and summer

  • Coordinate and schedule pre-program training and events, such as Interview Training, Open House, and Summits

  • Events Coordination

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing recruiting event series globally

  • Research, evaluate, and liaise with event venues and vendors

  • Collaborate and support recruiters and sourcers to generate candidate invitee lists that align with event strategy and goals

  • Support the creation and distribution of event marketing materials, ensuring clear, engaging communication that reflects our employer brand

  • Manage logistics such as event swag, t-shirt orders, and maintaining inventory

  • Support post-event reporting, including post-mortems and data tracking

  • Assist in additional ad hoc diversity events based on hiring needs

  • Research cultural nuances and location-specific considerations to support event success across regions

  • Candidate Experience & Onboarding:

  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience through timely communication and updates throughout the interview process.

  • Manage travel arrangements for out-of-town candidates when necessary

  • Support the creation, logistics, and shipping of candidate "keep warm" strategy materials

  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for candidates, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization

  • Program Engagement & Support:

  • Contribute to the successful execution of all programming events across Summer Internship Program, New Grad Rotational, and Sales Academy, including planning and organizing, scheduling and communications

  • Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Be adaptable and assist with various projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of our team

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related experience in program coordination, event planning, or a similar role

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating clear, professional materials

  • Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems, and proactively address challenges

  • Strong research skills

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:

$45,000—$85,000 USD
