Directly manage a team of software engineers, ensuring that each member is supported, motivated, and aligned with project goals. Set and enforce best practices for coding, architecture, and overall software development to maintain a high-level of quality and performance. Lead the design, architecture, and development of advanced, scalable software systems. Take ownership of the technical delivery of complex projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to influence and align on the technical strategy.Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role*All of the required experience must have included experience with: building data streaming pipelines using Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Kafka and Snowflake; managing Snowflake data warehouse via Terraform and SchemaChange, including creating and maintaining tables, materialized views, pipes, tasks, storage and notification integrations; building containerized web applications and Rest APIs using Python (FastAPI) and Docker, along with database and system integrations (Postgres, SQL Server, and Snowflake); performing cloud deployment of containerized applications using Github Automation, Google Artifact Registry and Google Cloud Run; utilizing Google Cloud products including Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub and Cloud Storage for web application integrations; building analytical layers of complex KPIs targeted towards fulfillment operations, using Tableau and Grafana; maintaining on-prem MS SQL Server databases to ensure maximum uptime, consistent replication and ad-hoc integrations with external applications; and mentoring software engineers. *Telecommuting is permitted from any location in the U.S.
