What You Will Do:

L'Oréal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced OMS Solution Architect to join our team and drive the transformation of our consumer shopping experience. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing a cutting-edge OMS solution to optimize e-commerce logistics, enable advanced order routing, and deliver seamless omnichannel (O+O) experiences across L'Oréal Americas. As a senior technical member of the product team, you will collaborate closely with internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery and evolution of our OMS platform:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solution architecture and design of the OMS platform for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with global architecture guidelines and business requirements.

  • Collaborate with system integrators, software engineers, QA, product managers, and other engineering teams to review and approve technical solutions.

  • Act as the primary liaison with the global OMS technical team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal and external development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of the OMS platform, customizations, and third-party integrations.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and solution trends in the digital commerce space.

  • Conduct technical and functional design reviews including code reviews.

  • Facilitate workshops with technical experts across different business units and external partners to address complex technical challenges.

  • Contribute to the evolution of DevOps processes.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 6-8 years of experience in solution architecture and technical delivery within the OMS domain, preferably in a large and complex environment.

  • Deep understanding of technology platforms and system complexities.

  • Strong understanding of OMS, order orchestration, and inventory management principles.

  • Expertise with integration patterns and middleware, including event-driven architectures.

  • Proficiency in API integration patterns (GraphQL, REST, webhooks).

  • Experience with performance testing and tuning of enterprise applications.

  • Strong knowledge of API integration techniques and tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience in the cosmetic/FMCG/retail industry preferred.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard DevOps practices.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and process orientation skills.

  • Experience working with multinational organizations and across time zones is a plus.

  • Goal-oriented and focused on execution.

    Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with cloud-based OMS solutions is required (FluentCommerce experience a plus; Manhattan, IBM Sterling, Order Dynamics, or similar considered).

  • Deep understanding of technologies within the OMS ecosystem (WMS, e-commerce platforms, Marketplaces, POS systems, ERP, payment infrastructures).

  • Ideally, a background in Java software development.

  • Strong understanding of system integration concepts (REST, GraphQL, Batch, EDI, sFTP, API Gateways).

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Integration Patterns.

  • Understanding of OMS security and system performance considerations.

  • Exposure to omnichannel technology tools.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD and automation practices

    Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

    Salary Range : $117,400 - $167,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
