The Marketing team at Snap articulates and brings to life who we are as a brand, why we exist, who we serve, and what value we have to offer. They are on a mission to build a best-in-class international marketing organization. With functions spanning global business and consumer marketing, creative, brand marketing, and marketing operations, the team enables and activates marketing initiatives across the entire Snap Inc. ecosystem.
We’re looking for a results-driven senior leader to lead our global brand marketing from our Santa Monica or New York office. In this role, you’ll work closely and partner with Creative, Product, Comms, Sales, Growth, and Insights teams around the world to build and execute marketing programs which grow Snap’s business across the world.
What you’ll do:
Build and lead a diverse, rapidly growing team of business marketers responsible for growing our business across the world
Create and execute Snap’s brand marketing strategy and programs which communicate Snap’s value proposition for our consumers and business
Develop highly creative, innovative brand and growth campaigns, narratives, success stories, thought leadership, industry partnerships, workshops, and events (virtual, and in-person) across all our audiences
Partner with other senior leaders and cross-functional teams, including Insights, Creative Strategy, Product Marketing, Comms, Marketing Science, Product and Sales to ensure our marketing delivers on Snap’s overarching business goals
Collaborate with other XFN leaders around the world to build and localize global marketing programs, and share best practices across our portfolio
Share insights from our marketing activity in the region with Snap’s senior leadership team in order to crystalize their understanding of market and customer dynamics
Measure the effectiveness and ROI of marketing and ensure it delivers on Snap’s brand and growth goals in the region
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership skills with an ability to operationalize and navigate complex organizations
An experienced operator, who will be both player and coach in a dynamic team and environment
Collaborative approach which embodies Snap’s core values
Creative mindset and an ability to spot opportunities and cultivate ideas where others wouldn’t
Analytical rigor and an ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
Superior ability to cultivate senior stakeholder relationships and bridge disparate priorities across teams
Ability to communicate Snap’s brand story and value proposition on stages and in the press
A passion for Snapchat!
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing experience
12+ years of experience in a marketing role
5+ years of experience leading teams which operate cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in regional or global marketing roles
Marketing experience at a digital platform, app, or media company
Experience in consumer brand marketing
Proven track record of developing and bringing strong creative campaigns to market
Demonstrated success leading a business-to-business marketing team

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :
The base salary range for this position is $209,000-$313,000 annually.
Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :
The base salary range for this position is $199,000-$297,000 annually.
Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :
The base salary range for this position is $178,000-$266,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
