Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team, which focuses on developing large-scale analytics applications in the healthcare industry. Our team collaborates to solve complex problems by designing and implementing robust data pipelines and analytics solutions on cloud platforms. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, ensuring seamless integration with various IT systems, and enhancing user experiences through intuitive front-end tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience as an Analytics Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in data engineering, software engineering, and data science concepts.

  • Extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale analytics applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Proven expertise in building robust data pipelines and ETL processes.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks.

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and data privacy concerns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively drive projects to completion.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to handle complex technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.

  • Prior experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior team members.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$111,240.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
