Robert Half Property Administrator in New York, New York
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Property Administrator in the heart of New York City. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in the bustling real estate industry, where they will handle various administrative tasks related to commercial properties. This role primarily involves managing tenant relationships, conducting property value analysis, and overseeing daily operations and financial performance of properties.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in negotiations for new leases and lease renewals within the commercial property portfolio.
• Conduct thorough screenings and qualifications of prospective tenants.
• Undertake market rent and property value analysis to keep up with industry trends.
• Develop comprehensive annual budgets that detail leasing assumptions for the coming year, tenant and capital improvements, commissions, and energy costs.
• Ensure that all construction projects are completed with high quality and within the scheduled timeframe.
• Actively participate in the creation of requests for proposals, bids, contracts, and construction estimates.
• Supervise daily operations and financial performance of properties to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Assist in the supervision of resident billing data to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure all properties comply with relevant regulations and maintain high property standards.
• Use accounting software systems, CRM, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and other management systems to perform accounting functions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle billing functions. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Property Administrator.
• Must have working knowledge of CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a must.
• Ability to effectively use Management Systems.
