FOX Production Assistant, Photography & Videography (R50028229) in New York, New York
We are looking for a motivated Digital Production Assistant to be a part of a groundbreaking online news-team for FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com. As a Digital Production Assistant, you can handle a fast-paced environment and are creative, flexible and have a ''can-do'' attitude. You are willing to learn, enjoy collaborating with a team and are eager to advance within the company.
You will be offered the following shift:
Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM ET - 5:30 PM ET
Hours are subject to change. You must be available to work alternate hours when needed.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Editing and optimizing original photography and video for web and devices
Booking travel for photographers
Assist with handling invoices, and tracking billing
Adhering to, and auditing detailed SEO requirements
Incorporating edits from supervisors
Utilizing real-time analytics tools to track the success of photo & video-driven stories
Creating and updating slideshows to capture important and compelling events
Communicating with news professionals in an assignment desk setting
Maintaining database of contacts and story ideas
Working with all verticals (assisting) including, Entertainment, US News, Lifestyle, Business, and World Teams by pitching visual stories and pulling in wire and partner content
Monitoring social media platforms and forums for the latest breaking or trending news items of interest to Fox News readers
Multitasking on tight deadlines in high-pressure environment
Prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
One year working in daily breaking news environment
Ability to work under deadline pressures with editors and reporters
Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
Proven creative mind with a great eye for detail
Experience in Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator Bridge, and/or Lightroom
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
A Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, journalism, graphic arts or other related discipline
Prior experience working in a DAM, or CMS
An interest in photography

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $20.00-25.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
