Pharmacist In-Charge needed w/ Doctor of Pharmacy or Foreign Equivalent in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science and one (1) year experience as Pharmacist In-Charge or Pharmacist performing following job duties: Compound and dispense medications following prescriptions issued by medical practitioners. Supervise the prospective drug utilization reviews on new and refilled prescriptions for allergies, medication adherence, drug interactions and therapeutic duplication for safe and effective medication use. Counsel patients about side effects of medications. Manage periodic health screening and health seminars to educate patients. Supervise medication therapy management and drug utilization review. Communicate with local physicians for patient’s medication intervention if needed. Responsible for overseeing the distribution of medicines to people with various mental and physical conditions. Order and maintain inventory management on medication. Ensure proper precautions and security measures while handling controlled substances by complying with federal and state regulations. Use Prime RX software. Supervise one (1) pharmacist.Must have NY State Registered Pharmacist License.
