Job Title: Outbound Associate

PAY: $16.50

HOURS: 5AM-3PM OR 3AM-1:30PM

MUST BE OK WORKING IN COLD Environment

Job Description

The Outbound Associate, also known as a Personal Shopper, is responsible for picking and packing grocery items and other goods, scanning items for order completion, and ensuring that the customer’s goods are well protected. This role does not require previous experience.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack grocery items and other goods

  • Scan items for order completion

  • Ensure that the customer’s goods are well protected

  • Maintain excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse

  • Audit product for quality

  • Assist in housekeeping of the department

  • Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others when the need arises

Essential Skills

  • Counting

  • Scanning

  • Shipping and receiving

  • Inventory management

  • Customer service

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with fresh produce

  • Experience with scanning equipment

  • Experience as a stocker or inventory personnel

Work Environment

Constant exposure to temperatures: <-10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators). Work involves standing/walking for 6-10 hours or more, single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. Required to wear oil and slip-resistant shoes.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
