Contract Duration: 10+ Months
What You Will Be Doing
Will manage a portfolio of approximately 20 major applications/programs.
Start with managing the Loss Capture program, focusing on minimizing operational losses.
Expand responsibilities to include additional applications and programs over time.
Oversee regulatory reporting, including multiple CCAR submissions.
Maintain complex quantitative models supporting a significant portion of the bank’s capital.
Support regulatory actions and Board reporting.
Manage data integration for applications like Loss Capture and ICAT.
Lead programs related to model risk, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
Maintain and enhance quantitative models critical to the firm's capital and risk strategy.
Represent the team in meetings with business and IT leadership.
Collaborate with scrum teams, engineers, and architects to prioritize and advance projects.
Manage resourcing demands and attend various internal and external audits and regulatory exams.
Respond to audit and regulatory inquiries within 24 to 48 hours.
Ensure effective communication and documentation for senior management.
Required Skills & Experience
8-10 years of experience managing large technology teams or organizations.
Strong understanding of operational risk, capital risk, regulatory reporting, and CCAR.
Experience in risk management within a technology organization.
Technical background – experience managing technical teams
Hands-on technical background to effectively engage with technical teams, no actual coding.
Background in engineering or familiarity with the SDLC lifecycle.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority tasks.
Energetic, flexible, and able to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with Java, Spring, testing, and APIs is a plus
