Book of the Month Office of the CEO Analyst Program in New York, New York

Summary:

We’re looking for the next member of our team to work in the office of our CEO! This is a high visibility and dynamic Analyst position, and is a great opportunity for someone to quickly learn the inner workings of a direct to consumer business. You will provide high level administration support to our CEO by owning calendar management, coordinating meetings and travel, and overseeing a variety of administrative projects. Over time, this role may also assist with processes in other areas of the business, such as People & Recruiting, Operations, and Growth. Our ideal candidate  possesses a strong work ethic, is hungry to learn as much as possible through apprenticeship style training, and thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

What you will do…

  • Work closely with the CEO to coordinate and manage calendar and travel logistics in a high quality manner. Serve as an interface for scheduling with internal team members, external parties, and vendors.

  • Over time, learn to appropriately prioritize meetings, scope length, vet agendas and make sure appropriate information is provided ahead of time.    

  • Assist the CEO prepare for various projects and meetings, including: drafting of agendas, documents, and presentations.

  • Build strong relationships with the CEO and other members of the leadership team through consistent follow through and urgency.

  • Over time, administer various tasks across other business groups with accuracy and attention to detail. Specific groups will be: People & Talent, Growth, and SC&O, and will vary based on team needs.

  • Be in the office 5 days a week so that you can interface frequently with the CEO’s team to solve problems and make things run smoother and faster. 

  • Respond to requests with urgency, which may occur outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends.

    Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
