About the Role

The Wall Street Journal executive membership sales team is looking for a motivated, ambitious and collaborative account executive to expand our recently launched WSJ Leadership Institute via C-Suite Memberships and Board of Directors.

The WSJ Leadership Institute is a new executive learning and leadership program developed to meet the rapidly evolving needs of today's business leaders. Our aim is to redefine executive leadership development and peer networking by leveraging the unparalleled trust and insights of Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal.

You Will:

The C-Suite New Business Account Executive will have the opportunity to introduce The Wall Street Journal Board of Directors and C-Suite membership portfolios to the world's most influential business leaders, communicating directly with them and their teams.

The C-Suite New Business Account Executive will build a pipeline through successful outbound calls, email communications and meetings. The primary audience is corporate communications, marketing, PR firms, Board of Directors and offices of C-level executives. Through proactively initiating calls and meetings, the Account Executive will gain a valuable understanding of the C-Suite objectives, this will enable them to position C-Suite memberships' as a critical tool to support them in the advancement of their role. You are comfortable and persuasive in communicating with senior corporate executives and their gatekeepers.

Additionally, the Account Executive will build consensus among external and internal groups to promote the Board of Director and C-Suite Memberships. The Account Executive will be responsible for providing feedback regularly and participating in special projects where needed. This includes researching and gathering intelligence about their market or industry and suggesting custom strategies, communicating actions and sharing best practices with the team.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience selling to Global Corporations, PR Firms/Communications contacts in the conferences/events space.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or a business discipline.
  • Set a strong example for others by working collaboratively, and in a congenial, professional manner.

Pay Range: $95,000 - $120,000
