Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Manager, Account Lead to drive strategic growth for ULTA/ULTA at Target. Responsibilities include managing ULTA accounts, overseeing key strategies, and maximizing brand presence. Collaborate closely with ULTA and internal teams to drive sales, improve product visibility, and execute retail activations. Act as the primary contact, leading business reviews, negotiating agreements, and achieving sales growth. Ideal candidates have experience in retail account management in the beauty industry, understanding ULTA’s business model, and a passion for results.
Description
- Account Strategy & Management:
• Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans for ULTA, U@Target.
• Manage and strengthen the partnership with accounts by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail buyers, marketing teams, salon teams and field leadership.
• Define and drive sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for ULTA/U@Target, ensuring alignment with broader company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate to align on product assortment, visual merchandising, media strategies, and promotional calendars tailored to retailer’s customer base and landscape.
• Lead regular business reviews, presenting performance updates, sales analyses, market insights, and future opportunities to optimize growth.
- Sales & Performance Management:
• Drive top-line omni sales growth by optimizing product availability, positioning, and promotional strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance, analyzing sell-through data, inventory turnover, and promotional success.
• Identify opp to increase sales, improve productivity and enhance customer omni experience.
• Manage pricing and promotional negotiations to ensure profitability while maintaining competitiveness within the market.
- Marketing & Promotional Activations:
• Collaborate with account to develop tailored and impactful activations that resonate with customer base and align with brand objectives.
• Oversee the execution of promotional activities, product launches, and seasonal events in stores and digital platforms.
• Work with marketing teams to plan visual merchandising, sampling programs, and other initiatives to drive product awareness and sales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner closely with internal teams to ensure that ULTA’s needs are met, from product launches to distribution schedules.
• Work with product teams to ensure the right products are being launched and positioned to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate with planning to manage inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Partner closely with field team leadership to drive in-store execution.
- Reporting & Budget:
• Analyze sales performance data, market trends, and consumer feedback to identify opportunities and recommend actionable strategies.
• Provide performance reports and presentations to senior management, outlining key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
• Manage account budgets to ensure plans are executed within financial guidelines.
• Accurately forecast retail sales plans and adjust based on trends.
• Evaluate the ROI on all activities with ULTA, ensuring the spend optimization.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience :
o5-7 years of experience in account management, retail partnerships, or sales management, with a proven track record in the beauty industry, preferably working with ULTA or similar premium beauty retailers.
oStrong experience in managing retail partnerships, sales forecasting, and developing account-specific business strategies.
oFamiliarity with ULTA’s business model, store operations, and online platform.
oStrong experience in managing and executing marketing campaigns, promotional events, and product launches in a retail environment.
Skills :
oStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
oAdvanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform strategy and optimize sales performance.
oProven negotiation skills, with the ability to manage pricing, promotional activities, and product assortment strategies.
oExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations and business reviews.
oProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500.00 to $135,500.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
