About the Role
The Legal Data Analyst plays an integral role in the US content team that creates content for products that support the workflows of human resources and people professionals and business leaders. This role requires collaboration across teams to align and drive product development and bring value to customers. The Legal Data Analyst ensures the accuracy of content and data and provides analytical support and actionable insight to internal and external users , with a strong focus on AI content optimization.
Preferred candidate is in NJ/ NYC for occasional onsite visits.
Responsibilities
Monitor, interpret, and analyze a high volume of new federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance.
Maintain and update comprehensive databases, including metadata and tags per law.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize opportunities and execute on AI content optimization from ideation to deployment on a global scale.
Oversee the integration of AI solutions to ensure seamless integration into workflows, tools, and platforms.
Work with content experts to define content standards and guidelines for AI-generated research materials, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive intelligence, and best practices in AI and content generation.
Utilize AI tools to analyze user engagement and feedback, continuously improving content relevance and effectiveness. Perform processes to normalize, mass edit, or deduplicate data for internal reference purposes and product delivery enhancements.
Design and execute quality assurance processes for data structure and content, ensuring accurate publication of information.
Extract, review, manipulate, clean, and transform data for internal and external purposes, creating data visualizations and workflows to drive insights.
Identify increased efficiencies in workflows and processes and solve potential data and content issues through testing and customer feedback.
Collaborate with product, data science, and tech squads to deliver new products and enhancements, ensuring product goals are met.
Participate in presentations to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data content optimization, preferrable in AI space
Experience working with generative AI models, natural language processing (NLP), quality assurance, content management systems, and data annotation tools.
Experience with employment law and/or a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a desire to enhance technology knowledge and skills, including learning data analysis tools, AI, machine learning, Adobe Analytics, Squidex , PowerBI , and/or Python. Experience with content management systems is a plus.
Familiarity with online legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis), specifically with tracking regulatory and legislative matters, and a thorough understanding of the lawmaking process at the federal, state, and local levels.
Experience with data modelling, database design, or taxonomy management is a plus.
Process-oriented, with the ability to understand and apply rules, rule logic, and workflows.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to closely read statutes, case law, and translate legal definitions into data points.
Works well independently with strong analytical skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and proven ability to articulate regulatory requirements across teams to capture information and achieve results. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to constantly collaborate with and support cross-functional team members in a matrix workplace to advance projects.
