JPMorgan Chase J.P. Morgan Wealth Management - Executive Director, Banking Product Owner in New York, New York
The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors and Self-Directed - our digital investing platform. The combined business has $600 billion in Assets Under Management and 5,000 advisors located across 3,500 branches and 20 offices.
As an Executive Director, Banking Product Owner within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will be tasked with the responsibility of defining and implementing the bank product strategy for wealth management clients across various distribution channels. You will work closely with our Chase Consumer Bank and US Private Bank product and platform owners, acting as the voice of the client and advocating for product features and delivery models that cater to their high net worth needs. Your role will blend skills of product management, stakeholder management, and project management with technical depth to develop Advisor and client journeys. This ensures access to a robust, competitive platform that assists clients in achieving their financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
Establish yourself as a trusted, active, and highly visible member of the CCB and USPB product ecosystem by forging deep partnerships with both the Firmwide Core Deposits Platform team and Deposit Area Product Groups, while representing the wealth management client experience in shared forums
Demonstrate deep bank product expertise, backed by intimate knowledge of the wealth management client and Advisor needs, to advocate and articulate both business and technical Product specifications, including build-in technologies and features to the firmwide platform
Set and manage Advisor and client expectations and day to day interaction; lead project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations as needed. Serve as a liaison with other product owners across lines of business and across product structures to ensure goals and requirements are communicated and understood by stakeholders.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure delivery of solutions from research through release, inclusive of testing and communications
Strategize and define Product features, identify any potential issues, and advise on potential solutions
Manage bank product team who will support day to day engagement with Deposit Area Product Groups; provide input on requirements, user stories and affluent-specific end to end testing
Generate field readiness inclusive of training, communications, pilot and full rollout scheduling in partnership with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management sales and training teams
Manage a pipeline of new product development ideas
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree required
12+ years of financial services product or project management experience
Superior project management, problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Ability to lead multi-stakeholder projects or work streams end to end
Superior communication skills; ability to speak comfortably and effectively to large groups of clients and constituents
Ability to actively work within a team environment while driving accountability for personal goals
Advanced analytical skills, including financial analysis
Knowledge of competitor landscape
Exceptional interpersonal skills - ability to advocate, influence, cultivate and build strong relationships
Manage, develop, and career path junior team talent
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Powerpoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Banking experience strongly preferred
Independent, personable, proactive learner and listener
Experience with Agile Framework and tools such as Jira and Confluence preferred
