Job Description
A B2B company is seeking an experienced IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, configuring, implementing and support IBM Sterling OMS solutions while bridging the gap between business requirements and technical execution. This role requires expertise in both functional business processes and technical configurations within IBM Sterling OMS.

Skills and Requirements
The candidate should have at least 7+ years of experience working with IBM Sterling OMS and 10+ years of overall experience in IT or supply chain management.
Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS configurations, pipeline design, agent framework, and business process modeling is required.
A strong functional understanding of order management processes, including distributed order management (DOM), inventory visibility, sourcing rules, fulfillment execution, and returns management, is essential. The candidate should have hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS configurations, pipeline design, agent framework, and business process modeling.
Technical expertise should include proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, XSLT, SQL, IBM WebSphere, and experience with REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations. The candidate should have knowledge of middleware solutions like IBM MQ, Kafka, or ESB for real-time data exchange.
Experience in working with eCommerce platforms, Oracle ERP Cloud, WMS, and logistics solutions is necessary. The consultant should understand omnichannel order fulfillment models such as buy online, pick up in-store (BOPIS), ship-from-store, and drop-shipping.
Soft skills include strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, the ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively, and excellent communication skills to interact with both stakeholders and developers.
