Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Financial Analyst.
The NYU Langone Psychiatry Associates FGP Financial Analyst provides support to department leadership and stakeholders by delivering detailed analysis and reporting to guide decision-making and help achieve organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include managing data collection systems, basic reporting, and supporting financial transaction processes. This position reports directly to the Multi-practice Director, FGP Ambulatory.
Job Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the preparation, submission, and administration of supplemental compensation for healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Evaluate and update supplemental structures to align with organizational objectives.
* Prepare executive summaries and analytical reports to inform strategic decision-making by senior leadership.
* Develop and deliver comprehensive financial reports and interactive dashboards, analyzing productivity and key performance metrics (e.g., scorecards).
* Monitor and process financial expenses and reimbursements for providers and staff, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and accuracy of records.
* Manage and update providers' requested time off, ensuring accurate time tracking in accordance with organizational Faculty Time off policies.
* Manage service requests and support operational workflows by overseeing ticket entries for clinical staff.
* Review and maintain provider insurance grids to ensure accurate information for billing and reimbursement purposes.
* Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance with healthcare-specific financial policies and standards.
* Administrative assistance as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in finance, accounting, economics or other business or healthcare related major). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, or similar programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis, conditional formatting, and formula creation for efficient data management and reporting. 2 - 4 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $98,218.33 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
