About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Enterprise Incident Management Leader.
In this role, you will:
Provide vision and set direction for strategic cross-border and international multi-business line initiatives
Drive growth in revenue and the international footprint through the identification of synergies with Business Execution companywide
Provide thought leadership to develop and implement strategic solutions to highly complex and potentially companywide business challenges through optimization of resources
Analyze and develop business execution solutions to address complex international business challenges
Lead a team of managers to develop long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for the purpose of operational excellence and process efficiency in order to achieve business objectives
Collaborate with and influence management regarding significant trends and issues, and recommend appropriate strategies or actions
Drive, manage, and support internal communications and forums to encourage and enable collaboration and cultural evolution initiatives, as required or directed by the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in crisis management, business continuity, resiliency, operational resiliency
Experience leading an enterprise incident management program, particularly for a large financial services or multinational firm
Excellent leadership and influence skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to express complex concepts and processes in a straightforward manner
Experience developing and enhancing documentation and communications reports using a wide array of information sources and publishing to different audiences, including senior management, corporate risk groups and regulators
Adaptable to rapid large-scale changes in business processes and organizational structure
Comfortable working in a complex matrix environment with simultaneous responsibility to business line management and department, group and corporate level risk teams
Experience presenting to Regulators including but not limited to the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)
Experience leading global teams

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Executive to lead one of the organizations within Enterprise Business Resiliency. Enterprise Business Resiliency is an enterprise-wide organization driving how Wells Fargo plans and prepares for incidents ranging from natural disasters, short term technical disruptions, third party disruptions to more severe cyber or geopolitical scenarios, through to elements of Recovery and Resolution planning. It is Enterprise Business Resiliency's vision to ensure Wells Fargo is ready, resilient and has sustainable products or services able to prevent or withstand disruption.
This executive will lead the Enterprise Incident Management (crisis management) organization within Enterprise Business Resiliency. The Enterprise Incident Management organization is the central coordinator for any situation or incident that warrants oversight and command and control, ensuring appropriate response and remediation efforts are taken swiftly. This individual will lead the development, execution, and continual improvement of the firm’s enterprise-wide crisis management and incident response programs (inclusive of tech and non-tech incidents). As the Head of Enterprise Incident Management, responsibilities include ensuring the organization is prepared to effectively respond to and recover from critical incidents, mitigating potential risks, and protecting the reputation, assets, and operations of a large complex firm. This role will require strategic leadership, exceptional crisis management skills, and a deep understanding of financial services risk management and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will lead a team of global professionals, including several command centers that monitor and manage potential disruption 24x7, 365 days/year. At time of incident, this leader will serve as the internal spokesperson for crisis-related issues, ensuring accurate, fact based, and timely updates to internal stakeholders, senior leaders including the Chief Executive Officer and the Operating Committee, as well as regulatory bodies.
In this role, you will:
Lead and drive the firm’s incident management process, organization, and teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Continuously enhance incident management policies, procedures, and response frameworks.
Oversee the creation and management of crisis response teams, ensuring effective coordination during incidents.
Act as a central point of contact for all enterprise-wide incidents, including operational, financial, legal, reputational and regulatory issues.
Manage the escalation, assessment, and resolution of incidents, ensuring the appropriate stakeholders are involved at each stage of the incident lifecycle.
Oversee incident recovery efforts, ensuring business continuity and the swift resumption of critical operations.
Serve as internal spokesperson for crisis-related issues when required, ensuring accurate and timely updates to internal stakeholders, senior leaders including the Chief Executive Officer and the Operating Committee as well as regulatory bodies.
Build and execute incident management training programs for employees at all levels, including senior management, incident response teams, and key operational groups.
Participate, and at times facilitate, crisis simulation exercises to test response protocols and identify gaps in current processes.
Foster strong relationships with internal teams (e.g., front office business lines, legal, operations, risk, etc.) and external partners (e.g., regulators, third parties) to ensure a coordinated and effective response to incidents.
Work closely with senior executives to provide regulator updates on incident management activities lessons learned, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with emerging trends, regulations, and best practices related to enterprise risk and incident management.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements related to crisis management and incident response in the financial services industry.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
