Jefferies LLC Electronic Sales Trader in New York, New York

Buy and sell public equities for Jefferies and Jefferies’ clients, including investment professionals, money managers, hedge funds, pension funds and asset managers. Advise clients on how to execute trades more efficiently. Meet with clients to develop new and useful trading tools. Advise current and prospective clients on how to maximize their revenue growth by using Jefferies’ existing trading capabilities. Strategize a plan to grow business for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) equities for accounts based in U.S. Collaborate with U.S.-based partners to grow revenue and improve business performance by landing new clients and expanding services to existing customers. Align differentiated capabilities across EMEA with those of Jefferies’ U.S.-based clients. Use economic theories and trading algorithms to analyze unique selling points in Europe. Perform complex trade cost analyses, implement and execute large and complex client equity portfolios, and monitor pertinent trading information.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role* OR Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role**All of the required experience must have included experience with: trading EMEA equities for U.S.-based client accounts; assessing potential risk associated with client trade orders; developing new trading strategies; performing complex trade cost analyses; implementing and executing large and complex client equity portfolios; and advising clients on how to execute trades more efficiently.

Minimum Salary: 250,000 Maximum Salary: 250,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
