Job Description:
The role will bring Epiq technology products and solutions to the market. You will define the positioning for the products and help develop packaging and associated pricing. In your role, you will be an expert in AI and techniques across legal use cases.
The primary vehicle for AI capabilities will be showcased and delivered through legal use cases. You will build an understanding of Epiq applications and be integral to the vision to drive new patterns of lawyer-AI interaction. This role will lead the strategy and execution for product marketing across Epiqs AI solutions.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with analytic and problem-solving capabilities, a compelling storyteller, and a communicator of complex concepts using simple, differentiating messaging. Product and technical curiosity are a must, as is the ability to successfully navigate ambiguity while driving clarity and influencing decisions in a highly dynamic, cross-functional environment.
GTM Strategy
- Create and execute go-to-market plans for product launches and releases.
- Collaborate closely with the product team, marketing, and sales o drive product roadmaps, sales pipeline targets, and sales effectiveness.
- Research and model pricing and commercialization approaches.
- Work with key GTM and Product stakeholders to develop and operationalize a launch excellence function, bridging the gap between product and sales.
Voice of the Customer
- Develop and lead market research and win-loss analysis programs to inform:
- GTM strategy and launch activities.
- Pricing and packaging strategies.
- Positioning frameworks.
- Sales enablement programs and materials.
- Digital marketing content.
- Personas and use cases.
- Develop and lead an analyst relations program. Conduct analyst briefings and inquiries to drive Epiq placement and improve performance in analyst reports and promotions.
- Identify and implement strategies to drive usage and growth for Epiq products and more effectively market to users.
- Effectively and proactively communicate with customers and build a trusted advisor relationship.
Competitive Intelligence and Enablement
- Develop and lead a competitive intelligence program to inform: GTM strategy and launch activities Pricing and packaging strategies.
Positioning frameworks.
- Sales enablement programs and materials.
- Digital content.
- Personas and use cases.
- Scale a competitive intelligence program to provide editorial responsiveness to competitive pivots and threats from new entrants.
Sales Enablement
- Work closely with Sales and Solutions Architects to inspire, motivate, and ultimately win customer business through the sales cycle; develop trusted relationships with customers and users through the sales cycle.
- Work with Sales to increase competitive win rates with effective competitive positioning and knowledge transfer.
- Craft demo storyboards and talk tracks for each use case.
- Provide RFP response support, as needed and to build a templatized answer library.
Initiative and Brand Marketing Consulting and Support
- Partner with Marketing to drive demand-generation campaigns that convert into client and user acquisition, adoption, expansion, and retention.
- Align Marketing content strategy to sales pipeline stages to support all buying and adoption stages.
- Consult on thought leadership and web content such as blog posts, white papers, and webinars to elevate and amplify use cases and product stories, emphasizing AI innovation and client outcomes.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in a technical or business field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in product marketing, or technical sales for fast-growing AI or B2B SaaS companies.
- 3-5 years management experience. Experience building and leading a team of product or marketing professionals.
- Significant experience in analytics, AI/ML, deep learning, generative AI, and related data science is highly preferred.
- Expertise in GTM strategy, and positioning with experience translating technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience managing and developing new product marketing programs with clear data-driven results.
- Experience managing and researching product positioning, competitive analysis, and product pricing.
- Ability to develop product strategy and execute strategic plans. Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Experience collaborating effectively with sales, marketing, and product management to achieve results.
- Experience working directly with customers to understand and respond to their needs.
- Experience in a business that redefined or reshaped a category.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including strong executive presence.
- Ability to balance and prioritize competing opportunities, customer needs, and business priorities. Strong problem-solving skills and bias for action with the ability to navigate both business and technical domains.
