Clear written and oral communication skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts to a senior audience. Position requires approximately 25% travel.Education Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree) required. Graduate/second-level degree preferred (e.g., MBA, Master's, or Ph.D.).ResponsibilitiesAs a Moody's Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to be entrepreneurial and map Moody's cutting edge solutions to customer needs in order to create a compelling buying vision. With this strategic consultative role, you will work closely with your team colleagues to engage at the C-level to develop long-term and trusted relationships. Focusing on (re)insurance brokers and investors in Industry Linked Securities (ILS) such as hedge funds and asset managers to drive revenue growth and value Teaming up with Moody's Relationship Managers and solution experts to position Moody's best in class catastrophe applications, data and modelling, software, and service solutions to drive holistic client engagement and value Owning the internal reporting for assigned clients, including maintaining an accurate account of opportunities in Salesforce Developing together with Relationship Manager detailed client-centric plans to help clients achieve their strategic imperatives Developing and nurturing relationships with client decision makers and key influencers Working closely with Client Success Managers to provide customer service and meet on-going client needs Partner with consulting, services and product teams to introduce new solutions or develop custom solutions for specific needs Engaging internal stakeholders such as management, product & technical experts to support clients in achieving their strategic imperatives Partner with Marketing to develop and deliver ILS and broker co-marketing, sales, and enablement programs Work with the product management team to understand the latest product offerings and share market feedback from interaction with the marketplace.About the teamOur high performing and fast-growing Broker and ILS team is looking for a senior sales professional, Director level, to drive new and existing client relationships. Focusing on (re)insurance broker and Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) clients, the team sells at C-Level complex packages which bring business critical value. New catastrophe models and data Moody's Risk Intelligence Platform will drive significant upside for the Director. Additionally, with the move of Risk Intelligence to the cloud, sales growth will increasingly come from encouraging clients to expand the use of Moody's systems in breadth and depth across their organization.For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $134,400 - $194,850, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
