$36/hr - $39/hr

Grow your career as a Credit & Price Risk Analyst with an innovative global bank. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Contract Duration: 10+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/University degree.

  • 5-8 years relevant experience working in a Front Office or Operations Support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity with a similar scope

  • Strong financial markets product knowledge across multiple asset classes

  • Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule

  • Must have strong Excel reporting skills (pivot table, if/and statements)

  • Experience working with large datasets

  • Strong data analysis, investigation, and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and comfort interfacing with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology

  • Proactive and ability to work under tight deadline pressures across multiple workstreams concurrently

  • Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks

Desired Skills & Experience

  • SQL/VBA a plus

What You Will Be Doing

  • Investigate and resolve Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk.

  • Assist with Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting

  • Provide regular management updates and status reports

  • Participate in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks

  • Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
