Project Accountant Our client, an independent construction and property consultancy, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Accountant with extensive experience in accounting, particularly in invoicing, accounts receivable, and general ledger (G/L) tasks.

Key Responsibilities The Project Accountant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare monthly invoices for 200+ projects. Ensure project expenses are invoiced and reconciled accurately on a monthly basis. Utilize Pivot Payables to generate reports for invoice backup. Generate AR reports and post cash receipts to the accounting system. Perform balance sheet reconciliations of revenue and accounts receivable. Oversee semi-monthly company expenses, ensuring they are posted to the correct G/L accounts. Apply basic knowledge of G/L and trial balance to maintain accurate financial records. Key Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with Concur and Pivot Payables is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile accounts and analyze discrepancies. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of financial principles and budgeting practices. Experience in cost estimation and forecasting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Requirements Qualifications 2+ years of experience, ideally in invoicing, AR, and G/L functions. Previous experience in a detail oriented services firm or construction-related environment is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
