Position Overview
The PDPM Coordinator will assist the Managers and Analysts with the administration needs for new product development projects from inception to product launch. The coordinator will communicate and interact effectively with cross-functional counterparts to facilitate product needs throughout the phases of development. They will track, report, and manage the movement of all samples in the department. The coordinator will support the team to ensure inventory and invoices are up to date.
Key Accountabilities
Sample Management:
• Support PD team in facilitation of incoming/outgoing samples between suppliers and internal teams; coordinating with Inventory Control and hand conveyance o Coordinate sample movement of JDIW transfers and inspections with Inventory Control Teams
Coordinate sample alert emails to JDIW Inventory Control team on incoming sample shipment
Coordinate sample movement to support GMO (Ecomm), Marketing, PR, and Senior Leadership needs
Help ensure samples are labeled, organized, and maintained through project lifecycle.
Support Analysts with updating/maintaining sample trackers as requested from cross functional teams.
Help facilitate sample disposition upon completion of project (RTV, melt/destroy, sundry).
Responsible for the tracking, processing and timely distribution of all sundries to the Employee Store
Populate sundry handoff form ensuring accuracy and integrity of all associated data.
Coordinate sundry hand off with Inventory Control
Operational Support:
Support Analysts to manage and facilitate stone inventory needs for projects; including stone requests, work order creation, work order clean up, bill of material set up and PO requests.
Prepare samples for weekly meeting presentations, conferences and other business needs
Assist with any business trip preparation (i.e. making copies of sample grids, supplier summary pages, etc.)
Support Analysts with any departmental systems tasks. Works with Analysts to process invoices as needed ensuring accuracy and integrity of all associated data (sample invoices and CER/Expense invoices through Coupa)
Assist Analysts with Signoff Process (TPM)
Help support Analysts to complete project close out process (including all sample/stone clean up and invoice processing)
Support the Product Development Team with execution of any department initiatives and additional business needs.
Administrative
Pack and ship samples
Manage and maintain artwork files, artwork scanning, and product imaging for internal use.
Maintain general shipping records of all samples.
Additional duties as deemed necessary by business needs.
Communication Management
With cross functional team members on project updates and sample borrows
With vendors on sample receipts
Required Qualifications
2-4 years prior Merchandising or Retail experience preferably in a luxury branded product
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) with ability to learn new software
Undergraduate College degree
Accurate and Attentive to details
Strong organizational skills
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Gemstone knowledge; Graduate Gemologist a plus
Overall product development manufacturing process knowledge
Basic working knowledge of Tiffany & Co. merchandise information systems
Basic working knowledge of Tiffany & Co. Operations
Prior Merchandising or Retail experience preferably in a luxury branded product
The hiring range for this position ranges from $22.87- $30.94 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
