The Role

Our Energy & Utilities Consulting group is looking for a Consulting Manager to join our journey.

We’re looking for Consulting Manager who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consulting Manager (which is a Manager level position) this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, colleagues. Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Consulting Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AMI and a strong understanding of Smart Grid Operations. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site in Manhattan, with minimal travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving project success and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead meetings with the client across 3 functional areas dealing with day-to-day AMI Managed Service operations

· Aggregate status updates from functional leads

· Provide updates at regular intervals to client and cognizant stakeholders

· Manage schedule for critical processes and support the team in maintaining SLAs when issues are brought to the team

· Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, manage risk, and ensure client satisfaction

Skills and Qualifications:

· 10+ Years of Experience

· 4+ Years of Experience in Client facing roles

· 2+ Years of Experience working on AMI projects

· 2+ Years of Experience managing projects

· Expertise in AMI and a strong understanding of Smart Grid Operations.

· Excellent communication, innovation, and team management skills.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or Management degree strongly preferred

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 18 th , 2025 .

The annual salary for this position is between $81,450.00 – $129,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
