Join the Mizuho team as a Cloud Architect!
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Architecture and Governance team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, governance, policies, and security best practices. They will play a crucial role in ensuring our Azure cloud solutions are secure, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design robust Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Develop and enforce Azure cloud governance policies and practices, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and security requirements.
- Collaborate with partner teams such as Cloud Engineering, Data, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to understand business needs and deliver secure and effective Azure solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Azure cloud governance and security, recommending new approaches to enhance our cloud offerings.
- Support and oversee the migration of existing applications and infrastructure to Azure, focusing on governance and security aspects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on governance and security.
- Strong understanding of Azure security and governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$165k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
