Job Title: Carpenter Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Carpenter Foreman with a minimum of 3+ years in commercial construction in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, the ability to work nights and weekends, and reliable transportation to various job sites in the NY/NJ/CT area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction sites.

• Ensure project timelines are met and work is completed to the highest standard.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Communicate effectively via emails, documenting RFIs, taking photos, and videos.

• Travel to various job sites, including the 5 Boroughs in NYC, Long Island, and New Jersey.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction in a supervisory role.

• Excellent leadership skills.

• Ability to work nights and weekends.

• Reliable transportation.

• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Excellent communication skills.

• 5+ years of experience as a carpenter foreman/supervisor.

• OSHA 30 certification.

• SST certification.

• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• experience in carpentry.

• Knowledge of framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and painting.

• Experience with power tools and tape measure.

• General contractor experience.

• Clean MVR.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Station, New York (travel to all 5 boroughs)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
