Guardian Life Campus Recruiter in New York, New York

As a Campus Recruiter, you will recruit qualified students to fill Guardian's intern and early career program within our main hub offices and regional sales offices. You'll help with recruiting activities and develop and maintain relationships with campus placement offices and faculty. This individual will need to be organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, and collaborative.

You have

  • A bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years of campus recruiting experience, preferably in financial services

  • Proven strong project management with exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow through skills

  • Experience interacting with students in a public facing way – i.e. recruiting events, virtual events, social media

  • Strong proven understanding of MS Office, particularly advanced in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills – can effectively develop trusted relationships, build credibility quickly, and partner effectively with others

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – appropriately crafts written communications; has the presence and confidence to represent the HR team and the firm in a professional, poised manner

  • Experience using Workday

  • Event planning experience preferred

You will

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Guardian Life and its business model and culture to identify, attract, assess and retain talent

  • Administer strategic relationships with assigned universities, including career services programs, diversity groups, alumni networks, fraternities/sororities, students, and faculty members

  • Support planning and facilitation of recruitment events, diversity conferences, and panels to support recruiting efforts

  • Create and manage job and event postings according to established guidelines on internal and external platforms, video interview templates, and email communications to support the recruitment process

  • Support execution and logistics of campus recruiting (material preparation, catering, facilities, advertising) and summer programming events (educational events, speaker series, networking receptions)

  • Manage applicant tracking updates and candidate flow in real-time

  • Build and maintain internal hiring manager relationships; responsible for client satisfaction within assigned business area

  • Execute full life cycle recruitment process for intern and early career programs within assigned business area according to established guidelines, including candidate selection, first & final round interviews, offer decision & communication process

  • Drive candidate engagement through all stages of the recruiting process to ensure a positive candidate experience is delivered

  • Track and report key performance metrics to influence data driven decisions and to share results/trends with stakeholders

  • Travel during peak campus recruiting season

New York, NY (Hudson Yards Office)

The position is a hybrid role – In office 3 days a week

Travel

25% travel required for this position relating primarily to recruitment around Guardian hub locations and less frequent but potentially nationwide conference participation

Salary Range:

$69,380.00 - $104,067.50

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
