Key job responsibilities
# Data Strategy & Architecture
Design and implement analytics architecture that bridges BI and data science capabilities
Lead integration of AI/ML tools to enhance data analysis and predictive modeling
Build scalable solutions that support rapid business growth
# Analytics & Insights Leadership
Develop key metrics that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
Uncover actionable insights to inform product strategy and customer experience
Partner with leadership to translate data into strategic recommendations
# Technical Innovation
Build intuitive self-service analytics tools and automated reporting solutions
Establish best practices for data modeling, visualization, and analysis
Collaborate with data science teams to integrate predictive models into BI solutions
# Cross-Functional Impact
Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to drive data-driven decisions
Present complex analyses to senior leadership in clear, actionable terms
Mentor team members and champion data-driven culture

Our newly formed team is on a mission to revolutionize how customers discover and shop for vehicles online, combining Amazon's customer-first approach with innovative automotive retail solutions. Join us in building this transformative business from the ground up.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
Experience with statistical analytics and programming languages such as R, Python, Ruby, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
