Job Title: AssociateLocation: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001Wage Range: $128000 - $155000Job Duties:BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. is hiring a(n) Associate (ref. Code R251183 in New York, NY).Duties: Analyze performance, risk, liquidity and cash management across portfolios by applying statistical and computer techniques to real financial data and live portfolios to aid fund managers’ real-time decision making. Partner with senior risk managers to help ensure that the risks are fully understood by Portfolio Management and are consistent with our clients’ objectives and risk constraints. Develop a thorough understanding of investments and trades to assess investment risks. Regularly monitor risks in the portfolios and presenting pertinent analyses on markets, portfolio risk and performance drivers to portfolio management teams. Research and assess how macroeconomic factors drive the investment decision-making process. Assist portfolio managers with portfolio construction and scenario analysis. Define analytical and risk management’s development needs for adequately monitoring risks. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration with a Finance or Risk Management Concentration, or a related field; and 24 months experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
