Nomura Holding America Inc. Associate, Risk Analyst in New York, New York

Responsible for the overall governance, data integrity, and support of the firm’s risk platform within the Credit Risk Infrastructure (CRI) team. Monitor counterparty credit risk exposures and risk metrics for any material movements or inconsistencies. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy of capital calculations. Deliver high-quality CRI reporting and data visualization solutions for stakeholders. Collaborate with credit risk managers, technology, risk methodology, and other teams on complex initiatives. Resolve data issues and take corrective actions as needed for credit risk metrics sign off. Identify limitations, provide recommendations, and implement compensating controls as needed. Transition end user computing to alternate strategic tools to find efficiencies in daily production and reduce the operational risk footprint of the group. Support Internal/External firm audits for periodic reviews and exams.Requirements:Master’s Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering or Industrial Engineering, plus three years of experience in the offered position or a risk data management and control position for a bank or financial institution.* *All required experience must have included driving technology and efficiency initiatives for data governance activities within credit risk; establishing processes and controls to identify issues with models or data quality; defining data quality requirements; developing enhancements to risk and control framework to meet regulatory, audit, and risk management governance needs; automating controls for key risk attributes, including automation workflows for reporting, data preparation, and reconciliation activities; applying knowledge of credit risk management concepts and products, risk measures (PFE, CE, RWA, VaR), data management and governance, counterparty exposure analysis, process automation, and risk reporting; and using technologies/tools Python, gitHub, SQL, Alteryx, and PowerBI.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. #LI-DNI

Minimum Salary: 141,170 Maximum Salary: 158,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
