Applications are sought for a qualified and motivated post-doctoral researcher in the group of
Prof. Kartik Chandran. The candidate will have knowledge and experience in simulation-based
design and optimization of biological wastewater and sanitation systems. Specifically, we are
looking for candidates with previous experience in the use of commercially available wastewater
simulation packages including but not limited to Biowin, GPS-X, WEST or SUMO as well as
knowledge of statistical and non-deterministic approaches for data analysis.
The position is available immediately and will be considered for renewal contingent on funding
and performance at the end of one year.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including
but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses,
specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and
reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
