Job Duties: Drive the overall product strategy to evolve the Reporting Data Platform in response to client needs. Partner with the investment teams, technology leaders, and other stakeholders to shape the vision for the technology products and platforms. Collaborate with product development teams to research and implement solutions for institutional client reporting. Prepare requirements documentation for use by software developers. Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure compliance with user requirements, specifications, or scope. Establish processes and frameworks for continuous improvement of the platform to enhance stability, reliability, and performance. Define or recommend data modeling and collection methods including hierarchical and relational data modeling. Research or develop analytical tools to address issues such as performance measurement, attribution, and accounting. Develop core analytical capabilities using advanced statistical and quantitative techniques such as correlation analysis and surveys. Devise or apply independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems. Identify, track, or maintain metrics for reporting system operations. Develop reporting solutions to help clients report on their carbon exposure or risk. Develop methods of assessing and reporting on corporate performance in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Qualifications: Master's degree in Learning Analytics, Data Science, or a related field and 12 months of experience in a Product Analyst or a related role OR Bachelor's degree in Learning Analytics, Data Science, or a related field and 36 months of experience. One (1) year of experience with: Datasets using programming languages including SQL and Python; Documenting requirements, transposing them into data specifications. and translating them to technical requirements; Leading a team to define user journey and product features; Writing acceptance criteria at the initiative and feature level; Front-End programming languages including Javascript and HTML; Applying Machine Learning methodologies for data mining; Developing core analytical capabilities using statistical and quantitative techniques including correlation and regression; Defining and recommending data modeling and collection methods including hierarchical, and relational data modeling; Devising or applying independent models or tools to help verify results of analytical systems; Data warehouse technology including AWS, Azure and Snowflake at scale.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$165,800.00 - USD$215,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
