Job Duties: Define and own the product story and the future of delivering Aladdin’s product capabilities. Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to execute product vision. Innovate, conceptualized, design, and pilot new software capabilities to simplify business problems for our clients. Define product strategy and execute product vision throughout the entire product lifecycle. Work to translate accounting business requirements into technical specifications and work with the engineering team to design and build scalable solutions. Work as product evangelist with the Product Marketing Team to build awareness and understanding of the product in order to increase product adoption and gathering user feedback to inform future product development. Run software development rituals such as grooming, stand-ups, demos as well as retrospective sessions with stakeholders. Lead with data driven mindset that tracks and measures usage and metrics to advise product strategy and deployment strategy. Be a market structure expert - stay attuned and be ahead of industry, market, and technology trends to build opportunities for BlackRock and better serve our clients.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Accounting, Political Science, or a related field; and 24 months experience in the job offered or in a related, Project Management occupation in the financial services industry. Requires 24 months of experience involving the following: 1. Front, middle, and back-office integration touch points in the Financial Services Industry; 2. Product and software development lifecycles including creating product road maps; 3. Integrating usability studies, research, and data analysis into business product requirements; 4. Preparing business requirements documentation (BRD) based on data-driven insights in accordance with regulations and internal policies; 5. Accounting treatment for investment instruments and impact to financial statements; 6. Accounting system architectures and core components; 7. Investment accounting and performance reporting cycles, operational processes, and workflows.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$142,300.00 - USD$162,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
