Description
We are seeking a motivated Associate, PR & Influencer Marketing to support the Director in executing PR and influencer programs for La Mer North America. This role manages influencer outreach, product seeding, and events, driving EMV growth through data-driven insights and strategic activations. Ideal for a beauty industry enthusiast eager to grow and make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Influencer Strategy
o Assist the Director in developing a talent strategy, identifying subcultures and emerging creators aligned with the editorial calendar to exceed KPIs.
o Build relationships with talent agencies, influencer tools, and social platforms to stay ahead in talent and trend identification.
o Serve as the internal expert on competitive and cross-category influencer activations, recommending breakthrough strategies for brand growth in North America.
• Talent Identification & Relationships
o Manage the in-house growth and management of our influencer list and always-on engagement of talent to maximize EMV
o Foster strong and loyal relationships with influencers to continually expand our network and retain talent
• Campaign Management
o Assist in creating clear and compelling briefs for creators.
o Oversee product orders, fulfillment, and timely delivery to influencers.
o Manage daily influencer communication to maximize post engagement.
o Collaborate with the 360 Marketing team to identify top-performing content for paid use.
o Track and report campaign performance against KPIs.
• Mailers & Gifting
o Manage all VIP and Evergreen Mailers and Gifting, working closely with Director to ensure all needs are met
• Events
o Support Director on executing Influencer events, including Spa de La Mer, to ensure we are delivering memorable and meaningful experiences that drive brand loyalty and desirability
• Reporting & Analysis
o Manage monthly, quarterly and campaign reporting on EMV and other KPIs, evaluate and recommend tactical pivots based on data
o Provide regular competitive analysis to shape strategies that will aggress our key competitors
• Budget Management
o Assist Director with monthly reconciliation of the PR & Influencer budget lines
o Manage product no charge and new product pre-orders with the 360 Marketing team, ensuring all influencer and press gifting needs are met
o Ensure all PR and Influencer invoices are processed
• Trend Spotting
o Manage internal and external tools to identify top trend areas of opportunity
o Recommend opportunities for paid, owned and earned activations that have potential virality and build equity, relatability and relevance
• Public Relations
o Assist Director with launch communications and pitching to editors
o Support product seeding process for media, makeup artists and dermatologists to foster relationship building
o Assist with operations and logistics management for brand activations and events, including global-led events and external events (i.e: dermatologist industry events)
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 2-3 years of communications experience, preferably in the beauty, fashion, or retail industries within public relations, influencer marketing or social media function
• Strong communication, organization and project management skills
• Knowledge of the media, influencer and social trend landscape; ability to identify and forecast digital content trends a plus
• An understanding of content creation, social trends, performance drivers, and how to craft an influencer brief
• Proficiency in all social platforms established and emerging (i.e. Instagram, TikTok etc)
• Proficiency in influencer management and reporting tools (i.e. Tribe Dynamics, Grin etc)
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead from every chair and build relationships internally and externally
• Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of creativity
Pay Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,350.00 to $93,250.00 . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
