Overview
As an Associate Director, National Video your primary responsibilities including negotiating and maintaining national video buys across broadcast, cable and unwired tv, as well as VOD and OLV. You will also train and oversee a team of supervisors and negotiators.
Responsibilities
Delegate and supervise workflow within group, determine priorities, and follow up with staff
Negotiate, purchase and recommend national video activity
Create and present recommendations to client and strategy teams regarding buys and new opportunities
Estimate delivery for all target demographics
Manage adherence to client guidelines
Negotiate and execute value added opportunities
Maintain confirmation of purchase, schedules, budgets, and reconciliation of network billing
Monitor performance of buys using current rating information. Secure compensation weight for projected under delivery
Assess/negotiate makegoods
Evaluate post-analyses and secure compensation weight for any under delivery
Meet all due dates for buys, post-analyses, and assigned projects
Communicate regularly with national television representatives and management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
Develop cost per points, competitive checks and group projects
Contribute to training and development of Supervisors, Negotiators, and Assistant Negotiators
Be on top of latest industry trends and marketplace conditions, and communicate these to clients
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field
Agency experience highly preferred
5+ years of experience in media buying/investment
Experience negotiating TV dayparts and online video
Direct client contact experience
Strong negotiating and presenting skills
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Office Suite - MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with MBOX and Prisma

Compensation Range: $95,950- $137,850. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
