HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Skip Hop Associate Account Executive will report to the Senior Account Executive managing Walmart, Target, Nordstroms, and new business development. They will have responsibility for managing day-to-day client interactions, assisting with problem solving, analyzing business, and supporting the strategic vision for the playtime category.
75% Account Management
Support building out and implementing financial strategy for the Skip Hop playtime category for Walmart and Target.
Partner with account planner to forecast and plan annual business, in addition to analyzing sales for incremental opportunities.
Drive strategy for annual line review, inclusive of collaborating with the brand team to ensure we have the right product and price to gain incremental space in Walmart and Target
Establish trust and credibility by demonstrating a clear understanding of the customers’ objectives and goals, inclusive of competitive landscape.
Manage all new dropship accounts onboarding and strategy in conjunction with Senior AE
Own ecommerce merchandising for accounts and make recommendations for SEO optimization and brand positioning, and support flywheel for Target.
Recommend biannual ecommerce assortment changes based on sales performance for accounts.
25% Account Support
Responsible for all customer maintenance, inclusive of order trouble shooting and researching chargebacks.
Support annual line review preparation and instore marketing requests.
Oversee new item set ups for Target, Walmart and dropship.
Responsible for price matching and MAP account challenges
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
Strong financial acumen, highly analytical and a strong understanding of retail math.
Experience with a replenishment business model
Flexible, adaptable, nimble with the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands with a positive attitude.
Excellent communication, including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
Preferred skills and experience:
3- 5 years of successful wholesale or retail sales and or planning experience.
Base compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000 a year based on experience
